Brethren,

Greetings in the Lord Jesus. Here is the update regarding Sunday services for this week.

The government of Canada still has not changed the rule that less than fifty persons are allowed to meet, so we will proceed on this Sunday as we did last week. There will be no prayer meeting at 9:30a.m., but our morning service (11:00a.m.) and evening service (5:00p.m.) will continue as normal.

As a reminder, if you are in a high-risk category or are showing symptoms of sickness, please do not attend church services. Also, if you do not wish to attend, please do not do so. We will continue to practice social distancing which means no hand shaking, no hugging, no physical contact of any sort, and maintaining a distance of 4-6 feet away from one another.

Please try and arrive early for church as we have had to send several people home over the last few weeks in order to comply with the mandate to not exceed fifty persons gathered together.

If anyone needs any help with obtaining groceries or other things, please contact me or one of the deacons so we can try and help out. Also, I am maintaining normal office hours during this crisis so if you want to talk, give me a call, email, text, or feel free to pop in as we are able to social distance at the church building.

Please continue to pray for our church and for the church as a whole during this time, specifically, that God would be pleased to bless the preaching of His word for the salvation of sinners and the edification of His people.

In Christ,

Jim Butler
