“Therefore, since we are are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and awe.”

Hebrews 12:28

Worship is to be God-centered.  In praying the Bible, singing the Bible, reading the Bible, preaching the Bible, and in seeing the Bible through the sacraments, the priority must be the glory of Almighty God.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL / PRAYER MEETING AT 9:30 AM

In our prayer meeting, we pray for concerns connected to our local church.  As well, we read prayer letters from other like-minded churches and letters concerning the persecuted church so we can intercede for the church at large.

On alternating weeks, we study a chapter of the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith in order to have a good understanding of historic and systematic theology. Recordings are available in the Sermon Audio archives. Video livestream is available on SermonAudio and our website.

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE AT 11:00 AM

God made man to worship Him.  As a result of the fall, we have rejected this privilege.  In Jesus Christ, we are renewed in His image and have access to the Father, through Jesus Christ the Son, by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Corporate worship is the focal point of church life and believers get to assemble together as the New Covenant community saved by Jesus Christ for the worship of God.

Currently, we are preaching through the book of John.

SUNDAY EVENING WORSHIP SERVICE AT 5:00PM

As Reformed Baptists, we embrace the Decalogue as a rule of life (Jeremiah 31; Hebrew 8), including the fourth commandment.  We believe that an evening service lends itself toward observing the whole day as holy unto the Lord and we delight to gather for corporate worship in the evening as well.

In September 2024, we started a study through the book of Philippians.

WEDNESDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY

We study a portion of God’s Word together each Wednesday evening.  We are working methodically through the books of Moses. Currently (September 2024) we have just started in Numbers.   All are welcome to join us at 7:30 PM, when we start with singing a couple of hymns and a prayer meeting, much like with the Sunday morning prayer meeting. The actual Bible Study starts at 8:00 PM. Simply reach out to us to confirm. Please use the rear entrance of the church to access the Fellowship Hall.

The 8 pm Bible Study is live-streamed to SermonAudio, which you can access via the SA websitethe ChurchOne mobile appor our website.

SATURDAY MORNING THEOLOGY STUDY

Our theology study group meets every other Saturday morning at 6:30am, generally on the opposite weekend of the Sunday morning 1689 Confession Study.

On September 21, 2024 we started our study through “The Trinity: An Introduction” by Scott R. Swain. See this blog post for details.

The previous book was “The Holy Spirit: An Introduction” by Fred Sanders.

Our book before that was “The Person of Christ: An Introduction” by Stephen Wellum.

Contact our teaching pastor for more information about the study, and for an invite to the Zoom meeting if you can’t make it in person. Optionally, join us for breakfast afterwards at a local restaurant for fellowship.
